Healthcare technology company Intellihealth has hired Annie Lorenzo as its executive vice president of clinical operations. She will manage the clinical operations personnel at Flyte Medical, an affiliate of Intellihealth. Lorenzo has extensive experience in clinical operations and telehealth care delivery, with previous positions at Propeller Health, Higi, Babylon, CirrusMD, and MDLive. Intellihealth CEO Sloan Saunders welcomes Lorenzo to the team and believes her experience will be beneficial in optimizing and scaling Flyte to meet the increasing demand for obesity treatment. Additionally, athenahealth has appointed David Minkin as the general manager of its digital clinical decision support subsidiary, epocrates. Minkin will oversee strategy, growth, and operations for epocrates, a mobile medical app provider acquired by athenahealth in 2013. athenahealth CEO Bob Segert is confident in Minkin’s leadership and experience in expanding value for epocrates users.
