UpLift, a behavioral health company, has acquired TAO Connect, a mental health company focused on higher education institutions. UpLift offers virtual talk therapy and medication management services with a network of nearly 2,000 providers. TAO Connect provides online interactive programs for mental health in higher education. The acquisition will result in a comprehensive mental healthcare solution for students, covered by insurance. This move comes as college students face mental health challenges and barriers to care. UpLift has also acquired Minded and raised significant funding. Other companies, such as TimelyCare and Lightfully Behavioral Health, are also providing mental health services to college students.
