Around 500,000 Australians have psoriasis, with 3 in 10 developing psoriatic arthritis. While there is no cure, treatments are available. The discovery offers hope for improved diagnosis and treatment. Stigma surrounding these conditions must be addressed, as many individuals suffer silently.
