The United States Bone and Joint Initiative ceased operations on December 31, 2023, and donated its assets to the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS). The ORS will continue to provide these resources to the orthopedic community. USBJI’s board president expressed delight in the ORS’ commitment to supporting and growing the important resources previously managed by USBJI. The ORS also plans to engage with other musculoskeletal stakeholder organizations to enhance and sustain these programs. This transition allows for the continuation of USBJI’s legacy and the Young Investigator Initiative program.
