This is part of an ongoing dispute with medtech company Masimo, which sued Apple for allegedly stealing trade secrets related to blood oxygen measurement technology. President Biden had the opportunity to overturn the ban but did not do so. Apple’s Watches are now available for sale again without the blood oxygen feature.
