At the JPM Healthcare Conference, Amazon announced the launch of its new Health Condition Programs, allowing customers to access digital health benefits through their employer or insurance carrier. Chronic care management company Omada Health is the launch partner, offering services for conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Omada focuses on data-driven behavior change coaching and virtual care support for individuals managing chronic conditions. Eligible members can enroll in Omada’s programs for diabetes, diabetes prevention, and hypertension through Amazon. The tech giant is expanding its Health Conditions Programs by partnering with more digital health companies. This move follows Amazon’s previous endeavors in digital health, including the launch of Amazon Care and the acquisition of One Medical.
