Women-led Pakistani telehealth startup bags $3M Series A funding

admin

Pakistani telemedicine startup Sehat Kahani has raised $2.7 million in a Series A funding round led by Amaanah Circle from Singapore. The startup, founded by two women doctors in 2017, connects patients with a network of 7,500 doctors within 60 seconds. It also offers on-demand laboratory services and online medicine delivery. The funding will be used to develop advanced features, including decision support systems, precision medicine tools, and predictive AI models. This marks a pivotal moment for the company, as there has not been much funding raised for Pakistani startups in digital health recently. Other Pakistani telehealth startups have also received significant funding in 2021.
