Samsung Health app has launched a new Medications tracking feature to help users manage their medications, with alerts for taking and refilling medicines. Indian researchers have developed an AI tool to identify carpal tunnel syndrome in ultrasound videos, and the tool can automatically measure the cross-sectional area of the median nerve. Chinese University of Hong Kong Faculty of Medicine has validated the use of AI in detecting colorectal cancer and has introduced AI-Endo, an AI-enabled surgical assistance platform for endoscopic procedures, which has improved adenoma detection by 40% and shortened training time for endoscopists.
