Digital weight loss company Noom has made several new hires in its leadership team, including an executive vice president and chief financial officer, a chief technology officer, and a general counsel. The company has also promoted several internal candidates to key positions. Noom’s CEO, Geoff Cook, expressed excitement about the new team members and their diverse experiences. In July, Cook was appointed as the CEO, and the company’s former CEO and cofounder, Saeju Jeong, took on the role of executive chairman of the board. Noom has received significant investment and has expanded its offerings to include a clinical obesity management solution called Noom Med, which provides support for patients in reducing their reliance on medications.
