Doccla, a provider of virtual ward and remote patient monitoring services, raised £35 million ($38.6 million) in a Series B funding round led by Lakestar. The company offers virtual care services and plans to expand in the U.K., Ireland, and across Europe. Doccla has partnered with healthcare providers to deliver hospital-level care at home, allowing patients to recover outside of traditional medical settings. The market for remote patient monitoring includes companies like Honeywell Lifecare, Medtronic, Philips, and Clear Arch Health. The HIMSS AI in Healthcare Forum is set to take place in September in Boston.
