A study found that calcium hydroxylapatite dermal filler may be effective in improving décolleté wrinkles in women. The study involved 117 women who received injections at 16-week intervals. 73.5% of patients experienced a 1-point or greater improvement in décolleté wrinkle score. The treatment had a favorable safety profile with no treatment-related serious adverse events. 53% of patients reported at least one treatment-emergent adverse event, but all events were unrelated to the treatment. The study concluded that diluted CaHA is a safe and effective treatment for décolleté wrinkles in females.
