These products, which involve crushing a capsule for flavor, appeal to children and are being heavily marketed at music festivals and clubs. Despite regulations in Europe, these products are surging in popularity in countries like Chile, Peru, and Argentina. Companies like PMI and BAT are releasing dozens of new flavor capsule brands in the region, despite pledges to phase out traditional cigarettes in favor of newer nicotine products.
