Key threats highlighted include lack of trust between countries, social and economic inequality, intensive farming, and human-to-animal crossover. The report also raised concerns about cyberattacks, biosecurity threats, and the spread of misinformation increasing the risk of pandemics. The board’s report was launched at the 15th world health summit in Berlin and emphasized the need for continued preparedness and collaboration to prevent and respond to future outbreaks.
