AIRS Medical scores $20M for global expansion and more briefs

AIRS Medical has secured $20 million in funding to expand globally and invest in R&D for its AI technology that enhances MRI scanning. In Hong Kong, a project has received funding to develop AI-driven social support for mental health. MediSim VR has opened a VR training lab for medical students in Chennai, while SoftBank has partnered with Tempus AI to establish a precision medicine joint venture in Japan. The JV will offer genetic testing, data analysis, and AI-driven treatment proposals using Tempus’ extensive database. Each company will invest 15 billion yen ($95 million) in the JV.
