Text message reminders and targeted outreach to newly eligible patients have also shown success. The CDC supports evidence-based interventions in clinics, such as client reminders and provider feedback, to increase screening prevalence. While colonoscopy is the gold standard, stool-based tests like FIT are more user-friendly and have comparable cancer detection rates. Completing any screening test is more crucial than choosing a specific one.
