The representation of these groups in published clinical trials was low, with zero representation for American Indian/Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian populations. Researchers highlighted the need for improvements in including diverse populations in clinical trials to address health disparities. They also emphasized the importance of a culturally competent and diverse workforce to engage indigenous populations and improve health outcomes for marginalized communities.
