The study revealed that less than 6% of menus had complete kilojoule labeling, with inconsistencies between different outlets and delivery services. The findings highlight the need for updated menu labeling laws to address the rise of online food delivery services, especially as they have become increasingly popular among millennials and Gen Z. The study also noted that online food delivery makes it easier for people to access low-nutritional quality foods, potentially increasing health risks like obesity and chronic diseases.
