By targeting the protein-protein interactions of Aurora-A, researchers were able to inhibit its interactions with other proteins without affecting its enzymatic function. This discovery has potential implications for developing new anticancer drugs, particularly for childhood brain cancers. The findings were published in Chemical Science.
