The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on cancer patients, resulting in a higher risk of infection and severe illness, as well as a decrease in screening and surveillance efforts. Patients with cancer have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic, with negative outcomes being observed on a population level.
