Alison Brind, a consultant hepatologist, self-published a book titled “I Never Stop” before her death, discussing her numerous sporting achievements. Her mantra, “I never stop,” reflected her relentless attitude towards life. Brind was dedicated to her work at Royal Stoke University Hospital and was known for her long-distance runs. She was the first liver specialist at the gastroenterology unit in Stoke and had a significant impact on the unit serving a population of over half a million. Despite her busy schedule, Brind was able to establish herself as a respected consultant and was passionate about treating her patients with care and dedication.
