The drug Pirfenidone was used in the study, showing potential benefits but with side effects. Stiffer ovaries in older age can lead to fertility issues and other health problems. The goal of the study is not just to lengthen fertility but to improve overall ovarian function to prevent various health issues associated with hormone decline.
