The applications will be built on Microsoft’s Azure AI platform and extend Nuance’s radiology applications. Mass General Brigham experienced IT disruptions due to a misconfigured update. The partnership is part of a larger trend in healthcare to leverage AI technologies to improve efficiency and quality of care. Other organizations like Google Cloud and Bayer are also working on AI applications in medical imaging.
