The global gambling industry is projected to reach $531 billion by 2025, emphasizing it as a public health issue. The study identified 46.2% of adults and 17.9% of adolescents globally engaged in gambling in the past 12 months, with higher rates in men than women. Online gambling is on the rise, with 7.8% of adults and 10.3% of adolescents participating.
