Exposure to fine particulate matter before egg retrieval was found to decrease live birth odds by around 40%. The negative effects of air pollution on fertility were observed even in areas with good air quality. This study highlights the importance of minimizing exposure to pollutants for overall reproductive health, emphasizing the need for public health initiatives to address this issue.
