The watch includes features like SOS setting, GPS tracking, heart rate monitor, and fall detection. It retails for $499 plus a monthly service plan. mCare Digital’s cofounder expressed excitement about meeting customer needs. Wearable device use is on the rise among U.S. adults, but younger generations find them more appealing. An AI model using wearable device data to predict Alzheimer’s disease is being developed by Eisai and Oita University. These developments highlight the increasing potential of wearables beyond just health monitoring.
