Jonathan T. Yang, MD, PhD, has been appointed as the associate vice chair for clinical research and developmental therapeutics in the department of radiation oncology at NYU Langone Health’s Perlmutter Cancer Center. Additionally, he will serve as the director of the metastatic disease service and clinical research at the Brain and Spine Tumor Center. Yang’s focus is on improving treatment for patients with metastatic cancer, particularly leptomeningeal disease. He brings experience from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and University of Washington School of Medicine. His appointment was praised by Alec Kimmelman, MD, PhD, the chair of radiation oncology at NYU Langone. Yang looks forward to collaborating with the dedicated team at NYU Langone to benefit patients.
