Undertreatment of advanced cases is a concern, especially in men of African ancestry. New approaches are needed for earlier diagnosis in low- to middle-income countries. Pop-up clinics and mobile testing are recommended. The medical community is ill-prepared for the increase in cases, with potential solutions including increased use of nurses and artificial intelligence.
