The new WHO Collaborating Centre in Dublin, located at the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at RCSI, will offer technical advice to WHO on developing systems for continuous professional development and leadership education for nurses and midwives. At the launch event, Co-Directors Professor Michael Shannon and Professor Thomas Kearns, along with other officials from RCSI and WHO, were present. This collaboration aims to improve the skills and knowledge of the nursing and midwifery workforce through specialized training programs and resources.
