Around 2000 claimants in the UK are planning to sue Johnson & Johnson over allegations that their talcum powder products caused cancer. The law firm KP Law has sent a letter before action to the company and will be filing for a group litigation order at the High Court in London. This will be the first case of its kind in the UK, although J&J has faced similar lawsuits in the US. Claimants will be able to pursue their case on a no win, no fee basis, making legal action more accessible for those affected by the alleged harmful effects of the products.
