SDPA Marks Its 30th Year of Supporting Physician Associates

Amber Blair, PA-C, delivered her presidential address to the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, reflecting on the organization’s growth since its founding in 1994 by Joe R. Monroe. The SDPA, now with over 4900 members, aims to reach 5000 in the coming year. Blair emphasized the importance of remaining engaged in the SDPA community and the broader advanced practice provider community. The organization is committed to supporting and advocating for dermatology PAs at every stage of their careers, with a focus on issues like step therapy, protocol reform, skin cancer prevention, and federal workers’ comp policy expansion.
