Patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease can now access the innovative recoveriX therapy in hospitals and neurorehabilitation centers worldwide. Developed by g.tec medical engineering GmbH, recoveriX uses brain-computer interface (BCI) technology to stimulate muscles and restore function in limbs impaired by neurological conditions. Studies have shown its effectiveness in assisting the recovery of stroke and multiple sclerosis patients. The therapy involves the patient wearing an EEG headset to read brainwaves while electrodes stimulate muscles electrically. Availability of recoveriX has expanded to hospitals and large neurorehabilitation centers in various countries, reflecting the growing demand for this treatment.
