The thirty-sixth annual conference of the Irish Hospital Consultants Association will feature a panel discussion with Health Minister Stephen Donnelly and IHCA President Gabrielle Colleran. The theme of the conference is ‘Leadership as reset for Irish healthcare’ and discussions will focus on improving waiting lists, capacity constraints, recruitment and retention crisis in the Irish health system. The event will also address the implementation of Sláintecare reforms and the prospect of digitization in healthcare. The conference will conclude with an AGM and an annual black-tie dinner. Key speakers include Professor Michael West, Dr Suzanne Crowe, and Prof Alan Irvine discussing leadership and whole-person care in healthcare.
