NHS surgeon Hosam Halim has been removed from the UK medical register for sexually harassing two female doctors and insulting another for wearing a rainbow coloured Pride lanyard. He repeatedly asked one doctor out and made inappropriate comments about her not working as a woman. Halim’s behavior at the Royal Free Hospital in London in 2021 included telling the doctor to cancel her Uber and making sexist remarks.
