D. Scott Kreiner, MD has been appointed as the president of the North American Spine Society for 2024-2025. He is a specialist in interventional spine, sports medicine, and physical medicine and rehabilitation based in Phoenix. Kreiner aims to facilitate collaboration between different specialties in spine care to improve patient outcomes. He obtained his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and medical doctorate from the University of Arizona and completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Kreiner’s appointment was announced at the NASS Annual Meeting in Chicago.
