Researchers have found that daily intake of eggs can help reduce the risk of dementia, as eggs are nutrient-dense food and contain bioactive compounds that are beneficial for brain health. A study conducted among Chinese adults found that eating more than two eggs per day or not consuming eggs at all does not help with dementia risk. The study compared the dietary habits of adults with and without dementia in China, a country with the highest number of people affected by dementia. The study also found that the protective effect of daily egg consumption against dementia was independent of other factors such as age and smoking.
