Resident physicians showed improved understanding of air pollution impacts and prevention techniques after attending a 15-minute educational presentation. The study found that average questionnaire scores increased from 52.8% to 89.2% after the presentation. Most residents had not received any lectures on air pollution during their medical training, highlighting a gap in education. The study suggested that incorporating air pollution education into medical training can help physicians counsel patients more confidently. Future research plans include expanding the study to residents of various specialties and geographic areas. Dedicated educational interventions can help improve clinical knowledge of air pollution risks and prevention.
