Physical therapy software WebPT is teaming up with Intel to integrate Intel RealSense PT Metrics into their EMR platform. This technology will allow for AI-enabled motion capture to track and analyze patient’s movement, posture, and range of motion during physical therapy routines. The integration will automatically chart patient information, providing physical therapists with valuable data for tracking patient progress. WebPT has been focusing on advancing AI-enabled tools in partnership with other companies like PredictionHealth and Limber Health to improve rehab therapy practices, reduce documentation burden, increase reimbursement, and enhance compliance in the healthcare industry.
