Two new courses have been announced as part of the UK’s first menopause education and support program created by UCL researchers. The courses, Be Prepared for Menopause and the Perimenopause Programme, aim to provide accessible and evidence-based education and support for individuals before and during menopause. The program is being developed in partnership with charities and medical organizations to ensure inclusivity and relevance. The courses will be available online and in-person with a focus on peer support and education. The team behind the program hopes to secure further funding to refine and evaluate the program.
