This research found that individuals with this condition face a much higher risk of death from all causes. The study, published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, analyzed the caffeine intake of over 500,000 participants and concluded that moderate consumption of coffee can lower the risk of developing cardiometabolic multimorbidity. Consuming three cups of coffee or 200-300 mg of caffeine daily was associated with a 40.7-48.1% decrease in risk.
