Many Irish adults are interested in services such as booking pharmacist consultations online and having home deliveries of medicines. The Irish public is willing to pay more for improved healthcare services. The Expert Taskforce has laid out a blueprint for expanding the role of pharmacy in Ireland, including allowing pharmacists to prescribe treatments for minor ailments. Overall satisfaction with Europe’s healthcare systems is low, with Irish women expressing more dissatisfaction than men.
