Irish Life Health extended their Health in the Home service to the Munster region, allowing clinically suitable patients to receive treatment at home instead of going to the hospital. The service is available to all Irish Life Health members on hospital plans at no extra cost, 365 days a year. Services include IV therapy, wound management, chemotherapy disconnections, and education. Patients can access the service with a referral from a consultant or GP. The goal is to reduce hospital stays and provide high-quality care. The service is provided by Irish Life Health’s partners TCP Homecare, and is now available in Dublin, Munster, and other regions.
