The study involved over 13,000 patients and showed a decrease in high-risk patients and a reduction in nonpalliative deaths with the use of AI tools. Regular communication through real-time alerts and enhanced monitoring by healthcare teams were key factors in the success of the system. The authors hope that AI solutions like CHARTWatch can help improve patient outcomes and prevent premature deaths.
