The platform will offer specific content for teens, addressing issues like media literacy, bullying, and body image. Clinicians in underserved rural communities can recommend Woebot to patients showing signs of depression or anxiety during well visits, with plans to expand to all of Akron’s primary care pediatric facilities. This partnership aims to address the youth mental health crisis and provide faster access to mental health support for teens. Other companies, like Wysa, are also offering AI-enabled mental health chatbots to address similar concerns.
