APAC’s growing focus on genAI and more briefs

admin

The Asia-Pacific region is seeing increased investment in generative AI technology, with over six in 10 APAC leaders planning to invest in genAI in the next three years. Leaders are concerned about data bias in AI applications affecting health outcomes and are looking to make AI more transparent, ensure diversity in data use, provide continuous AI training, and implement ethical policies. In South Korea, J&P Medi has unveiled a genAI-driven medical coder powered by Amazon’s Bedrock genAI service. Additionally, Kakao Healthcare and Bayada Home Health Care are partnering to offer a digital diabetes management service using AI technology to improve patient health at home.
