Singapore-based startup Aevice Health has raised $7 million in an extended seed funding round led by Coronet Ventures, with participation from existing investors and SEEDS Capital. A spinoff from Nanyang Technological University, the company offers a smart wearable stethoscope, AeviceMD, for managing chronic respiratory conditions. The funding will be used for expansion in key markets like Singapore, Japan, and the US, as well as for product development. Aevice Health recently joined the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator program to navigate the US healthcare system. The company has previously received investments from A&D Co. and East Ventures, and is collaborating with Jiva.ai to develop AI for predicting asthma exacerbations.
