An open letter to Prof Claire Collins and Dr Diarmuid Quinlan, Co-Chairs of the Organising Committee for the WONCA Europe Conference 2024, expressed concerns about the conditions faced by GP colleagues in Gaza. The letter urged for solidarity with Ukrainian and Palestinian family physicians affected by war and called for Russia to stop the conflict and return to diplomatic negotiations. The authors requested that the upcoming conference includes a theme on supporting Primary Care colleagues in Gaza, similar to the focus on General Practice challenges in Ukraine at the previous conference. The letter was signed by Angela Skuce and other ICGP members and GP trainees.
