The Phase 1 study has shown significant weight loss in patients, with potential for further development in treating both conditions. The drug was well tolerated with minimal side effects, offering dosing flexibility. Roche’s acquisition of Carmot Therapeutics has also brought injectable GLP-1 drugs into its pipeline.
