Indian ICU tech startup to go global with $11M funding

Indian ICU technology solutions provider Cloudphysician has secured $10.5 million in funding led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Panthera Peak and Elevar Equity. Established in 2017, Cloudphysician offers the RADAR smart ICU and emergency department system, which includes AI-powered assistants for clinical documentation. The company plans to use the funds for market expansion in the US, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Currently adopted in 230 hospitals in India, Cloudphysician aims to capture a tenth of over 50,000 hospitals in the country. The company also intends to enhance its AI co-pilot features to meet growing demand for automation and remote patient monitoring solutions in India.
