A survey conducted by RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences highlights the urgent need for education on HIV stigma among healthcare professionals and students. A new module has been introduced to address this issue. The module aims to improve understanding of HIV stigma and its impact. The survey results and the new educational initiative were presented by Dr. Leo Varadkar, TD, along with representatives from the RISE project at RCSI University. This campaign seeks to raise awareness and combat stigma surrounding HIV within the healthcare community.
