Talkiatry, a telepsychiatry company, has secured $130 million in Series C funding to expand its online psychiatric and therapy services for children and adults with conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and depression. The funding round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and aimed at advancing value-based care models. Talkiatry currently employs over 300 full-time psychiatrists across 43 states and works with more than 60 health plans. The company plans to increase its provider network, deepen partnerships with health systems, and move towards more risk-based payment models. This funding comes at a time of growing demand for mental health services and a shift towards value-based care in the healthcare industry.
